I of OEC has been completed on our 37,116 square foot facility, located
at 9 Industrial Park Drive off Highway 7 South and known simply as
the OEC. Approximately 7,700 square feet of self-contained office
and related space is now occupied, of which about 2,800 is leasable.
Miltec Research and Technology, Inc. (MRT), based in Huntsville, Alabama,
is our first client (tenant). MRT specializes in research development,
testing and evaluation, particularly in the field of acoustics and
radar power. They are affiliated with the National Center for Physical
Acoustics at Ole Miss, and represent the type of company that would
fulfill our stated objective: high-tech, high-wage job creation for
the Oxford, Lafayette and University community. We hope that we can continue our objective of partnering with high-tech companies with growth potential and ties to Ole Miss. Job creation, especially of the higher-wage variety, is foremost on our agenda, because of the overall positive economic implications for the entire community. Floor plan available upon request. |
